We have recently completed the labelling and packaging of 2006 Chris Ringland Shiraz. Lisa Perotti-Brown, of eRobertParker.com tasted the wine in July, 2013. The review has been posted in issue #211(Feb 2014).

"Very deep garnet-black in color, the 2006 Shiraz presents gorgeous aromas of cassis, florals, some red fruits, damp earth, sage, charcoal, licorice and a hint of pepper. Jefford on Monday: The Secret Visit

jeffordA little over six months ago, I was standing more or less on the other side of the world. The weather, as I made my way up Stone Chimney Creek Road, was much as it is in this corner of the northern hemisphere today: a sky the colour of mushroom stalks, misty rain blowing on the wind, temperatures cold enough to make wearing a parcel of goose down advisable. If our world didn’t tilt, of course, these seasonal pulses wouldn’t happen. But it does – so the brightness and warmth I left behind back in May is now, in November, lavished on the south.

On Pruning

pruning1It has been a cold, wet Winter. Just as it should be. The rain-gauge has collected 185.5mm (7.3 inches) in August. The rainfall gauging for August 2009 was 127.5mm (5.01 inches).
